Feature Requests

We're starting to overhaul our dashboard builder to make it much simpler and more pleasant to use. We'll have simple layout drag and drop support as well integrated support for the upcoming theme builder ( https://feedback.keen.io/feature-requests/p/theme-builder ). If you're interesting in participating in the Beta you can subscribe to updates for this feature and we'll reach out when its ready!

While Cached Datasets are a powerful tool, they have some limits and it can be hard to tell if/when you’re hitting them. We’re working on some changes to surface these error scenarios more quickly and explicitly. We also plan to raise the restriction of 500 intervals, allowing daily Cached Datasets to go back several years. This will enable richer and more flexible experiences for your customer-facing dashboards

A React Component for Keen-Dataviz.js

A true regex implementation might be difficult due to catastrophic backtracking ( https://www.regular-expressions.info/catastrophic.html ) but something allowing character classes, wildcards, etc. would be much more powerful than the current contains filter, which is fairly inflexible.

The ability to export/email a pdf or jpg/png from Keen explorer.

Its easy to build tracking optout functionality with keen-tracking, but we should make it easy for Keen users and just create a simple wrapper that does something along these lines: when setOptOut(true) is called persists the option to localStorage, and on page load checks if optout=true and if so disables tracking of user.

An in Keen theme builder to easily style charts. We'll provide a default theme or two (dark mode!) but also make it easy for you to build or extend a theme. We'll make sure its integrated with our improved Embed features in Keen Dashboard Builder as well so you'll be easily able to deploy a visualization that matches your style book.
